"Alba" (white in Romanian) is an homage to our roots in Moldova where wine is made in almost every household, These wines are often made with a mixture of grape varieties and simply called "Vin de Casa" (house wine). The only other designation is "red" or "white". Wine is served in simple glasses that are not swirled or sniffed and lengthy descriptions aren't used to describe the taste. The wine is made simply to drink and enjoy with friends, family and neighbors during holidays, celebrations or just on a regular day. "House Wine" in America might have a different meaning, and leaving out tasting descriptors might not be the norm for American wineries, but we are going with it. If it helps, we think this is one of the most delicious and refreshing whites around. Enjoy and Hai Noroc!

This is dangerously refreshing wine. One sip and you might find yourself abandoning all responsibilities to spend the afternoon sipping it at your favorite sunny spot (ours is the beach). It was tank-aged without any oak influence, giving it a naked and unapologetic expression of pure fruitiness. Clean, fresh, and vibrant, the wine explodes with fresh aromas and flavors, from yellow stone fruit (peach, apricot) and tropical fruit (pineapple, guava) to citrus (tangerine, mandarin orange). On the palate the wine is fruity, floral, and friendly with a crisp long, lingering finish.

75% Mourvèdre and 25% Grenache. This rosé opens with a captivating array of aromas, including white cherry, refreshing grapefruit, a subtle hint of orange blossom, and Pez candy. On the palate, this dry (not sweet) rosé is clean and refreshing with white cherry and white peach, strawberries and a touch of spice and flower petals on the finish.

Tinta Roriz grapes fermented and fortified with brandy to retain sweetness in the traditional port-making method. One barrel was produced and aged for 4 years before bottling unfined and unfiltered. Lip-smacking sweet blackberry, raspberry, fig, brown sugar and caramel. 19% alcohol content and 9.5% residual sugar makes this bottle intoxicatingly sweet and alluring – just like our winery dog, Ruby.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon presents aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, bell pepper and mint. On the palate, flavors of vanilla, graphite, dark chocolate, black currant and cassis are well-balanced, with a firm tannic structure and a long finish. It pairs well with grilled meats, hearty pasta dishes, or strong and mature cheese, and would make a perfect match for any special occasion or a fine dining experience.

60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese
Aromas of dark plum, dark cherry, chocolate, cedar, licorice, tomato leaf, cinnamon, and earthy clay. Flavors of Plum, black cherry, red currant and pomegranate, and cedar. Named after the winemaker’s daughter who is expressive and bold just like this wine.

70% Merlot, 15% Syrah, 15% Sangiovese
This is our 3rd vintage of a unique red blend that is named after our daughter, Sabina. Just as her boundless imagination and curiosity brings us joy, so does this wine with layers of flavors that intrigue the senses with every sip. Aromas of dark cherry, chocolate, menthol, and cedar captivate on the nose, while the palate delivers vibrant notes of dark plum, blackberry, blood orange, and warm spices like cinnamon and cocoa. Medium tannins and a rounded body provide depth, with a finish that lingers and invites exploration.

40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 20% Sangiovese
Aromas of black currant, black plum, black cherry and cedar, cigar box. Flavors of Plum, black cherry, red currant and pomegranate, and cedar.

Harvested from Zayante Vineyard. Two of the six barrels from the 2018 vintage were hand-picked for this special reserve bottling. The wine was made using partial whole clusters; a winemaking technique where entire grape clusters, including the stems, are used during the fermentation process. This can add complexity to the wine by introducing tannins, spice, and herbal notes from the stems and a more gentle extraction of the grape juice compared to destemmed grapes. After fermentation the wine was aged 20 months in 50% new American Oak then bottled in 2020 and allowed extra time to age in the bottle. Only 48 cases were produced. If Syrah is one of your favorite Bottle Jack varieties then you will love this wine. Our tasting notes include intense and layered aromatics and flavors beginning with pepper, herbs and redwood duff leading to wild black berries, cherry, black plum, mint, toasted coconut, and white pepper. The use of partial whole cluster fermentation is apparent in the wine's slightly spicy and earthy character, adding complexity to the fruit-driven flavors.

76% Syrah, 16% Mourvedre, 7% Grenache. A classic Rhône style blend exuding with rich black fruit, dried, lavender, spice, sage, black pepper, and smoked meat qualities. Well-balanced, with excellent structure, well-integrated tannin, and pronounced fruit qualities as well as leather and earth leading to a long, juicy finish. Drink and enjoy now, or ageworthy up to 10 years or more.

Introducing Bottle Jack’s inaugural 100% Grenache wine! With aromas of tart red cherry, strawberries, raspberries, and subtle floral and spice notes. Flavors of red cherry pie-like richness, complemented by hints of tobacco leaf, earthiness, and a medley of spices, finishing with an intriguing umami note. This Grenache is elegantly balanced and complex, showcasing its red-fruit-forward character. Only 72 Cases produced.

100% Sangiovese.

A light-bodied red, delicate yet complex. Nice balance between red fruit like cherry, raspberry and red currants plus clove and herbal notes and a blood orange and cinnamon finish. Pair with charcuterie, pizza, tomato-based sauces or dishes. A great pizza, pasta, and picnic wine!

64% Sangiovese, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 2% Syrah.

Harvested from Pierce Ranch Vineyards in the San Antonio Valley. The wine’s deep and dark purple-blue color alludes you to flavors you hold in your glass; rich aromas of dark fruits like blackberries, plums, and cherries. On the palate, it is full-bodied with flavors of ripe blackcurrants, blueberries, blackberry, plum and chocolate. The tannins are moderate, giving it a smooth, velvety texture and slight acidity. It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes like grilled steak (maybe with a splash of this malbec in a red wine reduction sauce) or lamb chops with chimichurri. It’s also a very easy drinking wine making it a great bottle to start off parties and gatherings with hard cheeses like aged cheddar or gouda along with salty charcuterie that compliment the Malbec's rich fruit flavors.

On the palate, this wine delivers intense flavors of blackberry, huckleberry, black currant, and tobacco, all balanced by medium-plus tannins, good acidity, and a lively fruit expression. The oak influence is subtle but adds a layer of depth with notes of cedar and spice.
